The Government Includes NAP to SNAP Transition at the Top of the Legislative Priorities

The Governor of Puerto Rico, Pedro R. Pierluisi, sent a letter to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies supporting the request made by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to maintain the funding for the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) for Puerto Rico in the Fiscal Year 2024 Subcommittee Appropriations bill, and urged them to provide an additional $1 billion for the program.

Governor Announces COR3 Energy Resiliency Plan

Governor of Puerto Rico, Pedro R. Pierluisi, announced today that because of a new grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Puerto Rico Central Office of Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience (COR3) submitted the plan for the use of $3.7 million that will be available for five years under the Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid Grants.

Governor Pedro R. Pierluisi Announces Appointment of New PRFAA Executive Director

The Governor of Puerto Rico, Pedro R. Pierluisi, announced the appointment of Luis Dávila Pernas as the new Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA), who will begin his duties on Monday, March 20.
