The Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA), Gabriella Boffelli, provided an update on actions taken today as part of the administration’s strategy to protect and strengthen access to quality healthcare services across the Island.

The Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA), Gabriella Boffelli, announced the approval on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives of the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2027. The legislation includes significant investments aimed at strengthening military infrastructure and expanding services for veterans in Puerto Rico.

Following years of advocacy and community-driven efforts, Governor González-Colón—while serving as Resident Commissioner—secured more than $163 million in federal funding to finally advance construction of this landmark project.
