In 2021, the company made another significant investment of $1.1 million to incorporate a production line for hypochlorous acid using innovative technology to manufacture organic disinfectants against viruses and bacteria. This investment expanded its product offerings for international markets and made Chemical Solutions the seventh plant in the world with the technology and stable formulation required to manufacture this product for Puerto Rico, the rest of the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Governor Jenniffer González Colón today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has obligated more than $513 million for nine recovery and reconstruction projects across Puerto Rico, including more than $509 million for permanent repairs to the Guajataca Dam.
